After the Mauritius Marathon: Three Nights Under Le Morne
The Route: South-coast hotel → Le Morne (3 nights) → SSR International Airport Logistics: Move your luggage once. Confirm the hotel and the transfer before you leave. Marathon Month: July Duration: 3 nights

Runners turn at Le Morne Village at about 25 km, so you will already have seen the mountain from the road. Staying under it after the race gives you a different stretch of coast and a reason to go slowly.
July in Mauritius: winter, cooler and relatively dry. The south and west coasts are exposed to wind, which suits kite sports but can make a beach day less sheltered. Do not book a lesson straight after the marathon.
Night One
Take a driver from your south-coast hotel on Monday. The airport operator groups Le Morne, La Gaulette and Chamarel as a separate zone from Saint Félix and Bel Ombre, so ask for a price to your exact hotel. Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort and Spa and LUX* Le Morne are two resorts in the area; check current availability and what each includes.
Nights Two and Three
Keep the days simple. Walk on the sand, eat at the resort and sleep. Le Morne Brabant is a mountain, not a race feature, and the published full marathon turns in the village, so nobody climbs it on the day. A climb after the race is a separate decision.
Getting Home
Book a transfer to SSR International Airport (MRU) and leave a generous margin. Ask your driver about the route, and avoid a flight in the early morning after your last night.
