This plan keeps luggage moves to two and ends in Rabat, which avoids a tight link between a long train and an international flight. The race is on a Sunday, so leave on Monday.
April in Morocco: mild, with some rain. Pack a layer.
Nights One and Two: Fez
Follow the pace of the two-night plan: rest on arrival, then a guided morning with a shortened route and a seated lunch. The medina has steps and uneven stone. Ask your riad about the approach to the door.
Night Three: Rabat
Return by train in the morning and spend the day resting. If your legs allow, visit Chellah, where April to September opening is listed from 09:00 to 20:00, or the Mohammed VI Museum, which is closed on Tuesdays. Check current hours.
Where to Stay
In Fez choose a riad that can arrange a station pickup. In Rabat a hotel near the station, such as ibis Rabat Agdal, keeps the last day simple. Confirm late checkout.
Getting Home
Fly from Rabat-Salé Airport (RBA). Take a taxi from the rank and check the posted fare, or arrange a transfer with your hotel. Leave a generous buffer before check-in closes.
