The Pomerode Marathon runs on a Sunday, and the central museum is not listed as open on Mondays. That makes Monday the day for a driver, a few heritage stops and an indoor visit, with someone else handling the hills.

October in Pomerode: the nearest climate figures are Pomerode's own October monthly range of 15 to 23°C, with 194 mm of rain across the month. Carry a thin waterproof, and keep the chocolate tour as the wet-weather plan.

The Rota do Enxaimel

The route association describes about 50 historic half-timbered houses along 16 km, with resources for heritage, food, lodging and guided visits. Many of the houses are private homes, so go only to the public stops. Pick three or four and stop for a rest between them. A route of that length is a drive, not a walk, so book a local driver or a guide for the day. No fixed price or schedule is given here.

Nugali

Tour Nugali is at Rua Testo Alto 4848 and runs a self-guided chocolate-production visit that the operator estimates at about 50 minutes. It opens daily from 09:00 to 18:00, with last entry at 17:50, except on 1 January and 25 December. The current price is R$50, with children under five free, and booking secures a chosen time. Production may not be running on the day you visit.

Getting There

There is no verified public route covering these attractions, so a pre-booked transfer is the reliable choice. Ask your hotel to arrange a driver and agree the stops, a lunch place and the return time in advance.

Where to Eat

Wunderwald, at Rua XV de Novembro 8444, serves German cooking alongside Italian dishes and seafood, and publishes Sunday lunch from 11:30 to 16:00. Check its Monday hours before you plan around it. Pomerhof Restaurante, at Avenida 21 de Janeiro 2115, lists a daily lunch buffet.

Getting Home

The driver returns you to your hotel in the afternoon. If you are leaving Pomerode that evening, the airport at Navegantes is about 75 km away, roughly 1.5 hours by car in ordinary conditions, so end the day early.
