Chatsworth, one of England's grandest country houses, sits a short journey from the marathon's finish area, an easy extension for runners with an extra day. The largely flat grounds suit legs recovering from a demanding trail marathon.

Chatsworth House and Gardens

Chatsworth House, seat of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire for centuries, holds an extensive art collection alongside formal gardens with fountains, sculpture and a maze. The grounds offer plenty of flat, easy walking, with the option to go further for anyone with the legs for it.
